Dr James Carere
Dr. Carere was born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo; after graduating from high school, he pursued his studies at the University of Western Ontario in London where he graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiology and Pharmacology.
Then, he attended McGill University in Montreal where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1990. To further develop his knowledge of dentistry, Dr. Carere took a general practice residency at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal where he perfected his surgical skills for wisdom teeth, grafts, and root canals.
“Dr. Carere has been with Casselman Dental Clinic since 1994; although he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he has gained particular interest in crowns, wisdom teeth, root canals and restoring implants.”
He lives in Orleans with his wife, Dr. Nathalie Teboul, a ophtalmologist at Montfort Hospital, and their three children, Shawn, Alexandre and Olivia. A devoted family man, Dr. Carere still finds time to alpine ski, to cycle and to run regularly.
Dr. Jim, as he is called at the office, is fluent in English and French and is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Ottawa Dental Society and of course a member in good standing of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Dre Nadine Laplante
Dr. Nadine Laplante was born and raised in Casselman, Ontario, where she graduated with honours from a program for gifted students at the local high school. After studying Biology for two years at the University of Ottawa, she was admitted at Laval University in Quebec City, where she received her Doctorate in Dentistry (D.M.D.) in the spring of 2003.
Dr. Laplante has been at Casselman Dental Clinic since 2003; she devotes a lot of time to her career keeping up with the latest developments in the dental field. Although she has attended numerous seminars on different aspects of general dentistry, she has chosen to concentrate on courses dealing with orthodontic treatments.
Dr. Laplante is married to Dr. Marc Beaupré, also a dentist and they have two lovely daughters; family is of utmost importance to her as she balances her time between being a wife, a dedicated mother and a full-time dentist. Still, she manages to be dynamic, to be energetic and to always greet her patients, however young or old they may be, with a sincere smile.
Dr. Nadine devotes herself to her daughters with whom she enjoys a multitude of activities and yet, whenever she can find a bit of spare time, she likes to play the piano; she is an avid art lover who also has a passion for travel and for discovering new places.
Dr. Laplante is fluent in French and English and is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Dr Antoni Berger
Dr. Berger was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where he accomplished his preuniversity studies. Interested in being a dentist from an early age, he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the Université de Montréal in 2016.
Hardworking, ambitious and passionate about dentistry, Dr. Berger gives particular attention to the quality of his dental work. He believes in the importance of making his patients feel comfortable during dental procedures and explains every one of them in a simple manner. He also takes the time to answer all questions and worries brought to him by his patients and ensures that they understand the necessity of the proposed treatments.
Dr. Berger pays a great deal of attention to his physical health by training regularly for several years now. He likes to constantly challenge himself; as such, he accomplished many half marathons, and achieved his first marathon in May 2016, in Ottawa.
Dr. Berger is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He is fluent in both French and English and has a lot of interest in esthetic dentistry, oral and implant surgery.
Nicholas Fournier D.D
Nicholas graduated in 2002 from Edouard-Montpetit College in Montreal, a Cegep renowned for its denturology program.
Since then, he has developed and acquired the necessary expertise to excel in the services offered to his patients. For him, creating a natural and esthetic smile is a must.
In order to ensure an esthetic and superior function, Nicholas uses materials of the highest quality as well as the latest methods.
His passion for denturology leads him to elaborating new products that will serve to improve treatments pertaining to his profession.
A member of the Ontario Association of Denturologists as well as an active member of several study groups, Nicholas believes it is important to constantly improve his competence by participating regularly in continuing education classes.
On a personal note, although Nicholas is originally from Timmins, Ontario, he has lived a few years in Calgary where he practised his profession.
Other than his work, he excels in cross-country mountain-biking in which he has qualified in endurance races on an international level. He has also served as a model in this sport for the Canadian Olympic Park and presently practises his favourite activity in Gatineau. Having moved back East six years ago, he now participates in triathlons.
Nicholas is the proud father of three wonderful children.
